Dear Parents/Carers
Despite the rather soggy weather, our whole school summer walk was a memorable adventure. Who says a little rain can dampen our spirits?
Our Year 6 leavers have truly left their mark. Their assembly was nothing short of spectacular, complete with an unexpected rap that had us all tapping our feet! And let's not forget the amazing leavers disco - pizza and ice-lollies were the perfect fuel for those dance moves.
The final celebration assembly of the year was a wonderful way to round off the year. It's moments like these that remind us of the vibrant community we've built together.
We said a heartfelt farewell to Mrs Philpott yesterday andto our fantastic Year 6 leavers. You'll be deeply missed, but we know you're ready for your next adventure. Remember to carry the Sheet spirit with you wherever you go! We can't wait to hear about all your future successes!
I have posted on our Facebook page some ideas for the summer alongside places where kids eat for free!
Next term we will be looking for extra parent minibus driver helpers, so have a think if you would like to get your licence through us!
As I mentioned before, I am very keen to get involved with the smart phone free childhood movement just look at the research: https://smartphonefreechildhood.co.uk/the-problem. I need a 'buy in' from the whole school community. So have a look and a think and I will organise an online meeting in September where we can discuss further.
Thank you all for an amazing year at Sheet, it makes me so proud to see your children grow in confidence, individuality and greatness every day. Enjoy the long hot summer.
I'll be back in touch regarding stationery, PE days and all the little reminders in the middle of August.
