Dear Parents/Carers
Hello everyone!
First off, I have to rave about our incredible Junior Show - Shrek! Our children absolutely knocked it out of the park with their performances over two fantastic evenings. The talent on display was simply breathtaking, and I couldn't be prouder of our young stars. A massive thank you goes out to Mrs Repp for her incredible work on the backdrop, outfits and that show-stopping dragon! And of course, we owe a debt of gratitude to Mrs Hines, who truly makes the magic happen. Be sure to check out the photo story to relive all the Shrek-tacular moments!
Our Y4 and Y5 had a trip out to the Shakespeare Festival. Please click here for the link to the news story.
Our YR had an exciting adventure of their own, heading off to Marwell Zoo on Thursday. Hot but brilliant, filled with animal encounters and lots of learning.
Year 6 has been living it up this week! They've capped off their exciting string of events with an overnight camp and a thrilling water sports day today. What a way to finish their time at Sheet Primary!
Today also marked our final transition day for the children. Despite the scorching heat, I think they all enjoyed getting to know their new classes once again. It's always wonderful to see them adapting and forming new friendships.
Looking ahead to next week, we've got plenty more in store.
Monday kicks off with our summer walk, please come dressed appropriately for a long walk, followed by a well-deserved 'lunch on us' for our fantastic support staff. Then at 2.30pm we have our leavers assembly (Year 6 parents all welcome) A residential online meeting 5pm (Year 5/6 parents) Meeting ID: 391 611 857 707 Passcode: jS79mB. Followed by the leavers disco at 6-7pm.
Tuesday brings our celebration assembly at 11 am - if your child is receiving a certificate, you'll have already been notified.
We'll wrap up the year in true Sheet Primary style with our traditional picnic on the field at 12, after which you can collect your children at 1:15 pm.
And just a quick reminder - while parking can sometimes be a challenge, let's all try to be considerate of our neighbours. A friendly chat goes a long way in sorting out any issues, much better than raised voices or harsh words!
Before I go, I want to wish you all a fabulous, sun-soaked weekend. Make sure to stay hydrated and enjoy the beautiful weather responsibly. That's all for now - I'm off to get covered in colour!
Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!
