Dear Parents/Carers
A huge well done to the Kestrels team this week for the smooth running of Year 6 SATs. Delicious cooked breakfasts were made and eaten with gusto and we are so proud of the children in Year 6 who have worked so hard and diligently for the national test. Results will be in during July. We are so proud of you all.
Next week swimming continues, Abbe's Music School will be performing to the school and parents on Monday, certificates for running club will be given out on Tuesday, Year 5/6 go to Bohunt for an athletics festival, the girls football team is playing in a small schools tournament at West Meon on Thursday and Friday is INSET day. So a busy finish to the half term.
Next week is 'Walk to School Week' - with us running the Living Streets campaign I am sure you all are making an effort to walk/park and stride daily so keep it up for next week especially.
The second half of summer term is always jam packed with activities so please do check the school diary on the website, I wouldn't want you to miss anything!
Summer Term also indicates our SRE (sex, relationships Education) lessons. You will all have had a letter today about it. Year 5/6 parents have some detailed lessons and animations to look at so that they understand what the content will be. If you need any further information that does not answer your questions from the letter, please just let me know.
Another exciting thing that we do at Sheet, is our 'Year 4 Camp' on the school field, this is in preparation for sleeping away from home and getting ready for residential requirements and is happening in July . We hope that every single Year 4 child will be signing up for this. We have recently purchased new tents for the year 4 camping experience so we have 6 campus igloo4 tents (4 man) available if anyone would like one, suggested donation £25 ono. They are a few years old but perfectly fine for the garden!
Have a wonderful weekend and take care of yourselves.
