Welcome to Kestrels Class

Welcome to Kestrels – Autumn term 2025-26.  A very warm welcome to our class – and also to Mrs Repp who will teach Maths to year 5 this year...we are so lucky to be able to do this and she is a qualified teacher. This term there is so much to look forward to as we get stuck into Ancient Greeks as our History focus, discover more about Mars Rover in computing and delve into Forces during Science. Is it a push or a pull? During music, we will look at music from different films…I expect the children and I will know very different scores!

As we progress into the second half of the term, we will look at Energy and the Environment.  Of course, we will also be doing our daily mile – wherever possible, fitness, dance, yoga and netball across the term, looking at 3D sculpture in art and rounding off the term by making your Christmas present in DT. My lips are sealed.
