  • U11 Football Festival at Bedales 10th Sep 25

    Published 12/09/25

This afternoon, Sheet Primary Year 6 boys took part in the annual Bedales football tournament – and what a performance it was, even in the pouring rain!
The team were simply a delight to watch, showing off not just their skills but also their incredible teamwork and unselfish play. Every single player managed to get on the scoresheet, which is a fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the spirit within the squad.
Across seven matches against strong opposition from other schools, the boys scored an astonishing 29 goals – conceding only 2. They lost just one match all afternoon, proving themselves to be one of the standout teams of the tournament.
The determination, energy, and sheer joy with which the boys played was wonderful to behold. A huge well done to the whole team for an afternoon of football that was every bit as brilliant as it was muddy!

A big thank you also goes to all the parents who came along to cheer on the boys in the rain – your support made the day even more special.

An even bigger thank you to the wonderful Mrs Mifsud who came in a couple of lunchtimes to help the squad practice and coached them this afternoon.

  • Sports Day June 2025

    Published 13/06/25

Another whole-day Sports Day took place at our school this week, and what a fantastic event it turned out to be! Blessed with glorious sunshine and clear skies, the weather couldn’t have been better for a full day of fun, friendly competition, and school spirit.

From the first race to the final relay, the children gave their all, showing outstanding sportsmanship, determination, and encouragement towards one another. Whether they were sprinting down the track, leaping in the long jump, or throwing their javelins, every child took part with enthusiasm and pride.

The staff were simply brilliant—organising events, guiding the children, keeping everything running smoothly, and cheering just as loudly as everyone else. Their energy and dedication made the day not only successful but truly special for all involved.

We were also delighted to see such strong parental support. Families turned out in great numbers, bringing encouragement, positive energy, and loud cheers from the sidelines. Their presence added to the celebratory atmosphere and meant so much to the children.

It was a memorable day for all and a wonderful reminder of the strength of our school community. Thank you to everyone who helped make Sports Day such a success—we can’t wait to do it all again next year!

The team were great sportsmen throughout. A huge thank you to Mrs Mifsud for taking time out to coach the players during lunchtimes and running the teams at the tournament.
