Young Voices 2024
26 children with 4 staff travelled to 02 London to take part in the Young Voices Concert
Reported by Callie & Bea, Yr 6
The 02 was AMAZING this year; 9,025 children were in the 02 arena! First off, we did 4 hours of practising and met the star dance teacher, Mr Chinchilla, at least hats what we call him. We learnt some new songs and dance moves to the song 'We are extraordinary' and a World Bood Day song performed by M C Grammar. It was so cool to see so many people all singing at the same time. There was a thirteen-year-old girl who played the drums and the saxophone. She was so talented.
To be honest, it's a once in a lifetime experience that you have to live out, whether you like singing or not, there is also street dancing and so much more.

We had a wonderful time and we all enjoyed it very much. We all needed to bring a packed lunch and dinner. We could bring a game tec to use on the coach. Though the journey was long, the two hours were well entertained by a movie, activities, our friends and our fantastic brains. It took a while to get into the actual arena, but it was worth it. In the 02 there was alot of shops but the one we liked the look of most was an epic disco ball shop, it was gleaming and flashing. After the concert it took ages to leave the arena. Some of us went home with our parents either in a car or by train and the rest went on the coach. We all got a cool Young Voices t-shirt and light with the Young Voices logo on it. It was an amazing experience and really worth it. If you haven't gone before, I highly recommend you to go!
